Contribuer aux commentairesWhat a comically bad experience. Placed a take out order, arrived about 30 minutes after placing my order. Was told a few more minutes (not a big deal, a busy Friday night). Proceeded to wait another 30 minutes before the hostess decided to tell me she had given my food to someone else 20 minutes prior. Her offer to put my order back in meant waiting…again.Had their food in the past, food is fine. Not sure a worse service experience exists.
Brussel sprouts AMAZING! Burger was delicious! Wait staff were ALL GREAT!!!!! SOOO Happy we found this place! It is absolutely beautiful inside!!!!
The waitress was terrific. The food was terrible. When you order a lobster roll in Maine, it shouldn’t come on a hamburger bun. The stuffed haddock was all stuffing and breading and a couple flakes of haddock. I would say that the fish and chips looked like two Gorton‘s fish cakes, but I don’t want to insult Gorton’s. The breading on these fish cakes was like armor plating. And the french fries, how do you screw up french fries? They were old and cold and gross. They try to bill themselves as, “farm to table.“ it’s more like, “freezer to table. “ The desserts work good, though. $315 for seven people for a very unsatisfying experience.
Stopped in on a busy Friday night. Ate right at the bar as it had two open spots. The food is fantastic! Had the fish and chips with a wonderful crunchy coating. Also had the poutine as an entree. Both delicious. Friendly staff were really hustling. Entrees came out fast, and piping hot.
Fantastic find on a road trip! Very close to the highway. Good service, good coffee, even the water was good. The fries (sweet potato and regular) were perfect, the burger excellent, the haddock sandwich excellent. And they compost all uneaten food; the compost helps feed the plants in the attached garden center. We'll remember this on future trips!
