(no hotel user) The first time was during lunchtime, and the second time was for dinner. One of the best things about this restaurant is its location. Despite being across the street, you can still enjoy a beautiful view of the sea. If you're lucky enough to get a seat by the window, it's a bonus! The interior is also natural and bright, with a Gabriola Island vibe, featuring wooden tones. The service is not a problem when it's not too crowded, but if it gets busy, the food may take longer, so it's better to come prepared for a wait or considering your ferry time. I took a walk along the nearby coast during the waiting time, and at another time I tried to cancel the order because of the ferry time. The prices for the dishes were reasonable, and they were delicious. The dessert was quite sweet, so it would be great if they had options for those who don't prefer overly sweet treats.Overall is good! I would recommend it for couples, especially during sunset hours.
Terrible service bad attitude from server, extremely long wait for cold food not to be returning again local business in decline for at least the last 4 yearsNearby activities: Beachcombing
Restaurant review only we didn’t stay at the hotel. The service was slow and the food didn’t taste like much was made in house: hamburger was made from frozen patty and the sides for the steak dinner (shrimp, asparagus) were unseasoned. It’s too bad because it’s such an amazing view. That is likely what has kept this place in business.
Awesome pub in gabriola! Really good price and a fun pool table and darts. Will be there every day ?
Amazing location with patio and lawn seating perfect for a sunny summer day. Friendly staff. Quaint quirky building and ok food.
