I ordered the chicken sope and it was very very fresh. I also got the pious as. I preferred the pork and cheese, but also got the beans and cheese. I felt that the beans needed more flavor in my opinion. All in all they get a 5 star because service was outstanding and the food quality is amazing. Use the number to call ahead your order or it can take 15-20 mins.
We have come here 3 times now and they never disappoint. The food is so amazing and to fresh. My son loves the quesadillas and I always get the chicken burrito. We love their Pupusas, and I would definitely recommend coming to their food trucks. The staff are so kind and sweet. And if you love the the fair they have a food truck at the Montgomery county fair grounds right now and they will have one inside the fair as well.
Specifically ask for 2 orders of Birria tacos but they decided to give me regular tacos instead and said they don’t have any. It’s located next to cemetery not megamart
Our neighborhood association held a block party last week and we had Taqueria El Paso cater it. I made the arrangements with Ramon and he was great to work with. He was quick to respond to my texts, voicemail messages and emails, and eager to make sure everything went well. There were 150 people at the event and they chatted while waiting to place their orders and for their food to be ready. Ramon and two people cooking in the truck (one was his father) couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly to the crowd. They offered a menu of about eight items, including quesadillas which made the kids at the event happy. THE CROWD LOVED THE FOOD! There wasn't a single complaint of any kind. We would definitely use them again and recommend them as event caterers!
Overall I would not recommend La Canchita.I liked El Paso. I couldn't judge Mexico Puebla.La Canchita was the 3rd last food truck in front of DMV Gaithersburg on Monday April 12th.I ordered at 11:20 am after also ordering similar items from the 2nd truck called El Paso. The solo worker at the 1st truck named Mexico Puebla did not pay attention so I did not order there.Hardly any customers around the 3 food trucks at this time.La Canchita service was extremely slow- about 30 minutes with one cook. The order at El Paso took about 15 minutes with 2 cooks. The pupusas platanos at La Canchita were better than El Paso. The Lingua Sopes were not good.El Paso's was much better. The pupusas here did not come with cole slaw or condiments which El Paso gave. The platanos here did not come with sour cream or beans but were greasier sweeter than El Paso which were firmer nicely presented.
