Uncle Julio's Gaithersburg

The drinks and atmosphere at this restaurant are good, but be sure to bring an American ID as they do not accept foreign IDs, even if they are valid. It was a strange experience because the manager acknowledged that the foreign ID was valid and the person was of legal drinking age (over 21), but still would only accept American IDs. It's a shame, as there are many other places nearby that do not have the same policy.

The restaurant gets a bit too loud during peak dinner hours on weekends, but the food and service make up for it. Perhaps they could consider adding some noise-reducing materials to the walls to help improve the overall dining experience.
