We both got steamed spring roll appetizers and curry bowls; mine red/shrimp and his yellow/shrimp. Though a little on the smaller side for a $16 dish, the food was delicious and delivered promptly by knowledgeable and friendly staff in a beautiful wood-themed traditional Thai house. We both agreed that we would return.
Stopped for a late meal on the way from Charlotte airport to Spartanburg. Thoroughly enjoyed the service as well as the fried shrimp, spring rolls Pha's tallay (sp? which is a beautiful mix of seafood and veggies. Would definitely go back.
Since Thai Khao San closed, we thought we would give this place a whirl. We just wanted a small late night shrimp spring roll and maybe some sushi. We got there about 20 minutes before they closed and the owner/manager greeted us and said they were only accepting to-go orders. We walked out, made a pact to never return and went down to Akahana in Belmont and had an amazing late night snack and a couple of drinks we got to enjoy top notch service! As I was reading the reviews for Thai House this morning thinking about how we were turned away, I was shocked to see one of the owners respond to a complaint about their food saying sarcastically you must know more about thai food than we do. What an ****, glad they will not get our .
Great Thai food and sushi selections. All are very delicious and full of flavor. The staff are all friendly and will make dietary accommodations when needed. My favorite is the Pad Thai!
Better than expected, even after reading other reviews. Beautiful woodwork around the tables and on the walls, very attentive and professional staff, peaceful atmosphere, clean restrooms. Highly recommended.
