Gainsbourg - Gatineau

We arrived at the restaurant around 5 on Canada Day and were seated under a covered area. The IPA beer was excellent. The restaurant was busy and we ordered food. The Mac and Cheese and calamari were both really good. The staff seemed to be overwhelmed as a huge thunderstorm hit and most people left the patio, causing the place to become packed. As the rain stopped, we ordered more beer. There was another couple on the patio and the service remained great. The stout beer was also good. Unfortunately, we couldn't order dessert because the kitchen was too overwhelmed to keep up. Despite this, our food, the draft beer (which they brew onsite), and the service were all great. We will definitely return, but be warned that the restaurant can be loud (though fun)!

I was recommended this place by a person I met in Kitchener, the first time I came here was for my birthday and I had the Russian Imperial Stout. It was delicious, just went back today and I tried the Bonnie Parker (Red beer) which was great! I finished off with a White Stout which was and is hands down the best beer I have ever had in my life. The place is in a great location, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, I don't remember about the food as I had it last year on my birthday. I could not wait to go back...

Je suis pas un gros fan de bière blonde mais ils ont une porter (Couleur café et une rousse (Bonnie Parker qui sont excellentes et très abordables en fut. La nourriture est toujours bonne, les tacos parfois un peu légers sur la garniture, mais sinon je ne suis jamais déçu. Le service est généralement excellent mais parfois il manque de staff et les serveuses sont pas mal occupées; même quand ça arrive elles ont un beau sourire et prennent le temps d'amener de la mayo piquante pour les frites.

Beautiful little spot to sit and have a pint beer was great, food was alright too! Certainly one of the best places to stop by in Gatineau!

Really good place to eat and have a drink!! The service is excellent and there is a good choice of food and drinks.
