There was only one customer inside so the service was quick and the staff was helpful when trying to decide what sandwich to get. Get the potato salad. Period. Don't question it. The little container for $3 was so worth it. We would have bought a bigger one if they offered it. My wife and I split the bologna and roast beef and it was so delicious, especially since it was steamed. The hotdogs were delicious and big! If I had one complaint, it would be the prices. Still, would rather support small family sub shop versus the National brand.
Nice little place that makes a good sandwich. Next time I'm in Tennessee will stop back by.
Super excited to have a sandwich but these are not steamed like they used to be. These are dry. I wasn't even asked about putting cheese on it. Unfortunately sometimes a place is about a person and nostalgia. I see the sandwich steamers displayed above in the store but the panini looking thing they use now is not doing it for me. I also miss Dennis. He made the store what it was and he was super friendly and had a smile on his face. I don't think the way things are going in this deli it will be able to stay open.
Great subs and great service! We have been attempting to visit Parton’s Deli off and on over the years and finally made it last week. We were met by Dawn and she was making a sub for another customer, it looked so good that I tried it. It was delicious. We also tried the hotdogs and the deviled eggs. The eggs were really tasty for being so mild and we could understand why she keeps her grandmother’s recipe a close secret. Dawn is just a lovely human being and her subs can’t be beaten. We recommend stopping by for a sandwich and heirloom deviled egg, if you get the chance.
A great small little deli. I had a ruben that was amazing on pumpernickel bread. This local shop even takes cards for payment, so fear not cashless people. They have a old 70ish theme of Pepsi from through out the years, and even a hum from the neon open sign. Really if you want a great sandwhich stop here.
