After many years, I finally visited this charming bakery again and I must say, I was not disappointed. The bakery has a classic European style and offers a variety of delicious pastries and sweets.
Had been there to collect something I ordered. It;s not the first time I have visited this place, had been there quite a number of time in the past. The quality has not diminished, may be it's not coped with the changing time, can think of renovating the place to some extent.
I absolutely love the Black Forest cake from this restaurant, which I have been enjoying for over ten years. The stuffed rolls are also incredibly delicious and simply melt in your mouth. In addition to their pastries, they have a great selection of traditional cookies and breads. The restaurant has a charming English decor and is a cozy little space.
Upon entering this bakery, you are instantly transported back in time. It is one of the oldest pastry shops in the city and has maintained its beauty over the years. The bakery is beautifully decorated throughout the year, especially during Christmas. Although I haven't tried many pastries here recently, I did stop by once and tried the Chicken Sandwich. The soft bread paired well with the creamy chicken filling. I also indulged in a childhood favorite, the Cream Roll, which did not disappoint. While the Nut Corner had decent flavor, the toffee became too hard and did not pair well with the biscuit. Overall, a pleasant experience with room for improvement.
