Finding a restaurant in genoa is strangely difficult. there are many caffes and bars. Maybe there is a restaurant area that we have not discovered. either the or the genoese eat at home. we were stranded in Genoa by an Italian railway strike and knew nothing about the city. the opposite around the restaurant has a stunning architecture, so the location is certainly good. with us were the only customers in a cavity-shaped interior (no body eats outside too). the chef wore a remarkable uniform perhaps centuries Russian poor. he has walked in and out of the building. all chairs are silver painted and there are illuminated display window dolls. the whole experience seemed to be on an empty filmet. the waitress was friendly and the food tasted perfect, but not more than that. wein at the glass was definitiw drinkable.
The facility is surreal not miss the toilets, but the waitress was friendly and the eating was good. the fish was fresh and well cooked. good location, good service.
We found the interior of the restaurant unique, so we decided to eat here. it was close to garibaldi, where many muses lie. they still offer the cursor menu for euro to them call it business lunch menu....We highly recommend it. we ordered a dolcetto d' alba red wine that didn't cost much. I'll hang pictures here. I ordered this combination: spicy sampi, meeresbass and dessert whille my man had this combo: pasta with pesto sauce, pork and dessert. remember correctly, we have included the American coffee in the set menu. when they look at the pictures, the part is small, but it is good enough to lunch. everything tasted good. they need to check their bath. very cool! the waitress was attentive and the owner even gave us a look back when we were gone. very nice atmosphere. the interieur is shocked, but the men working here are very down to the earth.
I stopped by for a late lunch, willing to risk the high prices to try the food. The trofie with Genovese pesto was great. You can justify paying more than the average price in town, because the parmesan is more than generous, there are plenty...of added pine nuts sprinkled on top, and the pesto and trofie were really good. The interior is quite funky, and like someone else said, the music they play is great!
