She had a conversation with us and was very friendly. The drinks she made were very yummy! The spaghetti was slightly bland . My husband enjoyed his sandwich .
We were in Gettysburg for a lacrosse game and wanted to get dinner. We stumbled across this restaurant. The people were very friendly and there appeared to be many regular customers. There's a large menu with everything from pasta dishes to pizza. My husband had the lasagna which was served with a small salad and fresh bread. I had a cheese calzone. They have Coke products. Only downside was the parking. It's on the street and it's 10 minutes for a quarter which seems crazy. Otherwise we had a great dinner.
Im writing this review if your looking for a good old Italian hero during your Gettysburg, PA stay. The hero was really good onions, lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. They put mayonnaise on it so i asked for it to put on side. I asked for mustard but they were out of it. The restuarant was really nice, the food other people were eating smelled really good and looked delicious. My husband wanted pizza and they stopped serving it or we would have eaten there. So weird thing was if we wanted to eat a hero there at dinner time we had to go around back through a dark dank walk way to their tavern. Completely different atmosphere dingy and dark and kind of creepy. The bartender was very nice though. I didn't want to stay in there which is why we went back upstairs and ordered my hero it to go. The waitress Mandy that helped us at the Restaurant and took my to go order was very very nice and polite. One of those people who lights up those around her
I ordered a pizza for takeout. It was hot and fresh and the service was great. I didn't get to experience the atmosphere, but it was welcoming.
Stumbled on this restaurant because we found a parking spot in front of it a couple weeks ago. Took a look at the menu and decided to come back and give it a try. Doesn't look like a lot of room inside, but we only had to wait 5 mins for a table. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. Lots of Italian menu options. We ended up trying chicken fettuccine, chicken Marsala and chicken parmigiana. All were very fresh and tasty. Followed it up with a slice of red velvet cake. Staffing was short, but our waitress did her best to take care of everyone. We'll be back to try something else!
