Baltico - Gijón

The view is wonderful, you can see all the boats from the restaurant and the atmosphere is great. They have a menu del día you can choose from and the price is right. I had an INCREDIBLE caldo de marisco. It was so good I would have had two portions! Then I had a paella which was part of the menu so not made on the moment which was alright, but nothing special. Then I had a red vino de la casa and natillas for dessert which was really good. Overall a good restaurant!

We visited this restaurant several times while we stayed at the hotel next door. The service and food are top notch !

A busy restaurant which suggests it is good. It was good. Waiters took the order and food quickly appeared. Good quality generally. I had meat which was tasty and well prepared. My wife had scallops which were perfectly cooked. Patatas braves we thought we’re potatoes and spicy sauce, however we were served what was effectively chips with a spicy sauce however that seems to be the norm for this area of Spain. Local wine ok, but waiter’s knowledge of English not great so no local advice given on the differing types of wine, but not much selection available.
