A lot of Mexican food places have plain beans with no flavor but these ones are actually goodand they use the good cheese as well instead of shredded cheddar.
This is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had and I eat a lot of Mexican food. There are so many unique dishes outside of tacos, burrito and nachos. The salsa is tasty and the house made habanero sauce is amazing. There is plenty of space so youaren?t crammed in. Our service was great. It is a friendly and inviting atmosphere. I am sure I will be back many times. Thehave ceviche and aquachile too?which you don?t see at many of the Sonoran restaurants all over Phoenix.
Another place found by accident and I was pleasantly surprised. TLDR; Will be back... would bring my Mexican wife 's family here for a quick bite. The service is friendly and attentive. You seat yourself, so it may not be the fastest service, but thisplace is all about the food. It seemed to take a while, but it was so worth it. Can definitely tell it is authentic Mexicanfood. Very flavorful and filling. I had the Tacos Birria (one of my favorite Mexican dishes) and it was very tasty. My wifehad the Tripas. She said it had good flavor, just lacking the usual crispness. The Chilaquelas was very crispy tortillas, flavorful chili sauce, and a perfectly executed over easy huevo. Overall, the word 'tasty ' is a bit of an understatement- Ikeep thinking of the gif of Gordon Ramsey saying f*cking delicious ... because it was. Will definitely be back.
This was my second time eating here. Went to lunch here with my father on a Monday just before the lunch rush. Three tables were taken and by the time we were done most of the tables were taken. Great authentic food. Service was fantastic. The ladies werevery friendly and ensured that we were taken care of despite the lunch rush.
There are new owners here. They no longer serve pork so when ordering pozole please note there will a be a mini chicken thigh and a drum stick thrown in there with no flavor. Tastes like water. Absolutely no flavor on any of the food. Rice was hard and crispy and isn’t Mexican rice no flavor. Chicken and steak fajitas tasted like nothing not seasoned. None of this food is authentic Mexican and the owners should have taken a second thought before buying this place cause they can’t make Mexican food for shi. We spent $50 on this garbage where my refund tf?
