About 4 weeks ago, we visited the excavator for the first time (under the week) after we became aware of it by a Facebook post of a friend. The portions are lush but good to make without getting bad. The service was friendly and tried. On our question about weekend utilisation, the service gave us their phone number with which please book via Whatsapp for weekends. Said our next visit was Saturday at 6:00. After the first visit we only knew we had to order Schnitzel without sauce (but it was a matter of taste). We waited beaten 3h until finally the food came. If we hadn't been through friends in good company, we would have gone before. The kitchen didn't come behind with cooking at all. In the future we decided to visit the excavator only under the week. The 3rd visit was okay, despite the day of the week, we had reserved whatsapp and our solitary carvings tasted us. The 4th visit was finally the last. We reserved, as usual, by Whatsapp and received prompt confirmation. In the evening the frightening. When we came, all the tables were occupied. While the service was still striving for a solution, the boss immediately appeared and gave us a sermon that we should only make a reservation by phone in the restaurant, the service can finally forget something. Yes, of course she can forget something, but the option of booking by phone was never present for us because the service itself at the first visit asked us to reserve via whatsapp. So we got the blame it didn't work with our reservation, okay. But instead of trying to keep us as a guest, any contradiction was rejected. The service was willing to put a table out of the interior for us outside, but the boss rejected this categorically and now also missed any kindness. Our conclusion to the excavator: others also make good carvings, perhaps even better. The cozy sitting on the water is not more important to us than a healthy customer friendliness. We'll get our money off somewhere else in the future and the excavator won't see us again.

Simple furnishings. Beer garden available. Servings for seniors barely create. Unfortunately, there are no seniors. Tasteful but good. Friendly and fast operation.

Small fine beer garden, very delicious food, huge portions and very nice service. Were there for the first time today and will definitely come back!!
