Montford House - Glasgow City

The restaurant is not bad, but please make sure there are no events at Hampden if you want to book a lunch. The kitchen is closed during events, and even if it is open, you may not enjoy your meal as it will be very busy.

Absolutely terrible experience. We had a reservation for lunch for 3 people before a Scotland home game at Hampden, which we had done before. When we arrived, they told us we couldn't come in because you can't book a table for lunch on match days, and the kitchen wasn't even open! No apology was given, and they still wouldn't even let us in for a drink when we showed proof of our lunch booking. Avoid this place on match days. Disgraceful.

I went in today for Sunday lunch and it was amazing from start to finish. Everything was great, no complaints to the chef.

Great food with big portions and lots of dishes to choose from. Lovely staff and a really nice venue with beer garden. Highly recommend.
