Palace Restaurant - Glencoe

The waitress was amazing and she was very thorough. we wanted to talk to the owner and she went and got him. my mother had the fish she said was amazing-flavor, taste and texture and was the best she ever had! I had. the panzarotti and I must say it was the best in canada that I had ever eaten in 50 years. the portions of both meals were simply huge and more than we could eat. no doubt that we will be back.

I was not expecting much from Glencoe, as it is not a big city. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and the friendly service at the restaurant. I have dined there three times and have left happy each time. The atmosphere of the dining area is also quite pleasant.

My family and I visited this restaurant and had an okay meal. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't anything exceptional that would make me want to return. I've had better meals elsewhere, but I've also had worse. There was nothing particularly wrong with the experience, but nothing stood out as special either.

A large group of us was here for the first time recently for the breakfast buffet. the restaurant was not very busy when we were there, so we appreciated that we somehow had our own section to ourselves. while the restaurant is very dated, it was clean as the washrooms. our server was young and friendly, but it was terrible to check us if we needed something. the breakfast buffet was just okay. we found it incredibly strange that we were not able to serve ourselves one of the hot foods and instead had to wait for the server to come and serve us. waiting was unpleasant and it seemed very unnecessary. it is all they eat buffet so customers are able to serve themselves. the selection included basic breakfast items such as French toast, sausage, touch and speck. I don't eat pork, so there was no tonne sort for me. there were random foods, as well as spring rolls, carving, and some mysterious dish with broth and heart knows what else was soggy chaos. overall, hot eating was okay. nothing spectacular. the cold salatable was good. the dessert bar was quite simple; jello, pudding and vanilla cake. I ordered a coffee and not even I got a refill. there were also water-crackers on the table and they were not filled again. the bill was paid while many people still eat, but after the waitress got the money, we never saw her again. the people wanted to refill and teller free, but she was gone. very disappointing. will not be back.

Restaurant run by great people who support local sports. Food is good. Service is good. Great buffet with lots of fresh, hot choice.
