Tony York's On Main - Glendale

So my wife and I recently visited. It was our 40th anniversary. The restaurant seems fine. But it we weren't impressed right off, seeing the owner smoking a cigarette just as we were walking in. Not a great professional look. We ordered I got the blue cheese jalapeno burger. It was tasty as always, but I had to remove most of the lettuce because it was bad. It was turning brown. One would think at the price you pay for a single burger and fries, you would expect a beautiful burger without dying lettuce. The fried green tomatoes were tasty, but over breaded and over cooked, they were very close to being burnt.the roulade was tasty but a bit too thick, it was very close to paste, Aside from that everything else was on par. It server was perhaps the most satisfying thing during our anniversary lunch. She was attentive, friendly and provided a beautiful smile and perhaps the best server I've ever had at any restaurant.

Oh my goodness!! This place was superb!! It deserves all the stars!! The food had so much flavor, everything about this place is 5 star. It's definitely worth a stop. Will be back soon!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It's the best ever. A restaurant I visited by chance! It was a restaurant like a hidden treasure. The steak is reasonably priced and delicious. Please be kind.
