Downtown Social - Glens Falls

The restaurant has recently updated its menu, but unfortunately, there are very few appetizing options available. The nachos were disappointing, as they were basically just potato chips with toppings. I am not planning on returning to this establishment. It is a shame that they altered the menu, as I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant.

I made a reservation for my Bachelorette Dinner and drinks. The restaurant was incredibly noisy, making it difficult to hear myself think. The service was very slow and the servers seemed confused. It's unfortunate that the restaurant is not well-managed.

My husband and three teenage daughters have visited DTS many times in the past, and it has always been fantastic. The food is great, the atmosphere is fun, and the waitstaff is always friendly and attentive. However, when we went for my mom's birthday on Saturday, 4/17, we were very disappointed. We waited for 20 minutes before a waitress approached us and took our drink and appetizer order. She served us the appetizers, but got our drinks wrong and never took our dinner order. After waving someone down, we were finally able to place our dinner order, but 50 minutes later, our meals still had not arrived. When our dinners were served, they forgot two of them. We were at the restaurant for three hours. On the positive side, the manager took good care of us by comping our meal (which was delicious despite the long wait) and giving us a gift card. He handled the situation professionally and we will definitely return to DTS in the future because of his exceptional service. Despite this disappointing experience, DTS is usually a fun and delicious place to dine.

Great atmosphere and the food was delicious! We will be back.

Held a corporate dinner for 18 with out of town guests. Everyone in the group loved the food and atmosphere at Downtown Social. Will definitely keep in mind for our next gathering.
