It's also a lot bigger on the inside than what appears to be on the outside. The staff is very friendly and they have a very good knowledge of their beer menu. I tasted just about all of them, but at the end of the day I settled down for the angry dragon and it was very refreshing. The place is set up in a way that it can easily be sectioned off in case someone would like to have a private party.
Very chilled good beers. Most appreciated was the customer service, which took great care of us even the pup bringing her water on our second round of beers.
The Angry Dragon is a must for lovers of Pale Ale. On the heavier side, the MPH is a terrific imperial porter and the milk and cookies is a must for fans of a good stout. Plus, they feature a New England IPA that is one of the best in Chicago. From the owners to the bartenders, everyone is friendly and welcoming. With a large tap room, this place is great for just grabbing a beer or having large parties. Keep on brewin 10/90! If you go, tell them Paul sent you so maybe Jimmy will give me a free 10 ninety tote bag. :
Love Ten Ninety. Great IPA with the 90 feet from heaven. Also love the Half Wit. Big taproom with good TVs for sports, etc- plus a fireplace to keep it cozy. Great addition to Glenview. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They know their beer!!
I liked Ten-Ninety... decent beer and good food. A couple beers missed the mark but, overall, they were still tasty. I marked them a star down because I thought their pricing of food items, etc was a touch higher than they should have been. I had a simple beef brisket BBQ plate and it was priced about $21. It was good but it was not a $21 plate. A day after I went to Ten-Ninety, I went to another brew pub that was more upscale in food and beer offerings and atmosphere and paid about 1/3 less for the entire experience. That stuff adds up.
