The prices are normal. The quality of food is good, the portions are appropriate. Overall, I can recommend the restaurant.
We drove to Taverna on Sunday evening with 9 people at short notice without booking before, despite high season and full restaurant, the nice boss has organized us a table for us at short notice, for the funeral gave Ouzo fuer all. The Taverna is not particularly large but very nice and cosy. The portions were very large, the food was very tasty and the prices were very human for a spa. We were operated by the boss hoechstpersoenlich, it made a lot of fun. Once again, Ouzo fuer all gave a farewell kiss to the house and as a special cheer. Merci for the bright evening.
Today was announced on the Greek evening holiday programme. The good criticism of my foreman in the back of the head, we were still surprised to get one of the quite rare parking spaces in the suburb of Sandwik in the beautiful summer weather. On our arrival the restaurant was still closed so that we agreed to return there after the beach visit. At about 5:30 p.m. we arrived there and had quite a chance to get a table. Not that the place was crowded, but due to an upcoming birthday party almost all tables were pushed together and lovingly decorated. A table at the window still found itself for us and so after a very friendly and accommodating greeting we dedicated ourselves to studying the extensive menu. In this case, experienced Greek eaters also receive 4 things. First of all, very many delicious typical Greek appetizers are offered, partly even with an appetizing photo, secondly, the range of lamb dishes is very large, thirdly, almost all dishes are traditionally served with rice and not with the fries not typical of Greece and last but not least the prices are incredibly low. In a cut of 10 euros for a dish, we put in my hometown in every Greek gyrobude on the treses, with significantly smaller portions. And with our intrinsically inexpensive stem Greeks, 15 euros per dish are now completely normal. The atmosphere is original and harmonious, the rustic decoration reminds of a Greek tavern somewhere in the Greek province. A village tavern, so something between snacks, pubs and restaurant, just a lot more cozy and more familial. To receive the order there was the usual Ouzo, the salad as an appetizer was crisp and homemade. The food came to the table after a quarter of an hour and kept everything the optics and serving size promised. Much meat, delicious rice with vegetables, only my wife had pommes, exactly the coarsely carved canthols she loves from home. I think the exact composition of the individual grill plates I don't have to perform very much, because they corresponded exactly to what you know in Greek. Even after the birthday guests arrived no hectic came up and we were very lovingly and warmly approved. Pappsatt, satisfied and with the intention to come back soon, we have left this gas house that appears so inconspicuous from the outside.
Hello, due to a family meeting and good reviews, we were with 4 people on 28.08.12 in the above place. The welcome was very warm and the restaurant was also well visited. We first ordered the appetizer for 4 pers. and were pleasantly surprised. The plate was plentiful and very tasty. The then ordered barbecue dishes were the pure fall. The meat burned black and completely dry. It's unbelievable. Steak ordered almost raw. Only the fish ordered was fine. The service apologised and wanted to refresh everything, but our appetite had passed. We will certainly not come back here again, because we believe that a cook must not give anything like that.
On our last holiday day we wanted to go for dinner and chose this restaurant. It's a mistake we found. We were received and ordered to a table standing in the middle of the room. We felt disturbed because someone wanted to go by and we had to go back. The service could not even look us in the eyes when ordering and probably didn't listen to us, which concludes because it brought us false drinks and started to discuss. That's what I've done. Tzaziki could not be eaten by the amounts of garlic, the meat Suvlaki was tough. The rice was dry. Couldn't eat our dishes.
