The seafood in my shrimp and fish combo dinner look very dark as far as fried food goes. The baby cakes that came as a side look very dark as well like they were cooked in bad Grease. When I took a bite it was exactly as I thought.... burnt Grease.

This is a deli that serves seafood and it works. Place your order at the counter, seat yourself and they bring your food out when it’s ready. Friendly people, clean and comfortable place, good food (fried small shrimp and fries! , good prices. Wish we lived nearby rather than just passing through. There were lots of regulars there.

I go to Michael’s a few times a week for their seasonal strawberry pecan salad with grilled chicken. It is always fresh and delicious! The fried tenders and French fries are crispy and hot. The cashiers are friendly, in fact a couple of them know my order when I walk in. However, the guys in the back of the house make the magic happen! They are an awesome group of dudes (there may be female staff back there, but I when I go it is just them) The thoughtful care and preparation that goes into the salad presentation, even in styrofoam, looks incredible! Makes me sad to have to find somewhere else to eat on Sunday, but it’s okay they need rest too! Thanks ya’ll

We ate here while visiting the local islands and historic Brunswick this summer. It’s very casual, and was completely unexpected that the food was so good!! Just a good, normal, local place to get whatever you’d like! Large portions, great prices, and super friendly staff! My husband and I got the fish plates but our kids really enjoyed the chicken tenders and burgers. We will definitely eat here on our next trip!
