Tanglewood Ordinary - Goochland County

Anything but ordinary! Delicious country cuisine in a cozy cabin atmosphere. The fried chicken was a real highlight along with the outstanding service. Highly recommend!

Love the staff, been going here for years, and never had a bad experience. We begun having birthday celebrations here and the staff is wonderful, they even serve our cake for us!

Service was great , but food was fair at best. Pot roast was mainly fat, as was the pulled pork, which had no flavor. Chucken was dry and lacking meat. Was noisy, but they did have 4 birthday parties the night we visited, so I can't blame the restaurant totally on the noise.

It took us 45 minutes to get there, but it was worth the drive. The food was real homemade just like grandma's or aunt Louis's and lots of it!! The serving bowls were never empty. The service was on point nerve an empty glass. They have an excellent wine list and the best biscuit!!
