I've been to Anchor several times, and each visit has been a fantastic experience! I really enjoy the laid-back atmosphere and the friendly staff. If you're a seafood enthusiast like I am, especially fond of oysters, this is the perfect spot for you! I always love pairing my meal with a glass of bubbly. Regardless of what you order from the menu, the food is consistently excellent! Be sure to check out their specials, too. The crudo and tuna tartare I had last night were absolute perfection! Great food always lifts my spirits, and you can't go wrong at this place!

This restaurant has gone through several changes over the years, but I must say this is one of the better iterations. In addition to a variety of meals and cocktails, you can also purchase freshly caught fish to cook yourself. The rooftop terrace has been beautifully updated with fresh colors and tidy seating. The oysters and wines offer a lovely combination of local and imported selections, while the cocktails are delightful sweet blends. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, and the service was friendly. I can tell that the place can get quite busy due to its size, but it was perfect for enjoying afternoon cocktails after shopping in Greenport.

We had an unforgettable evening at the beautiful deck overlooking Peconic Bay. The service, drinks, and food were all outstanding. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive, providing us with detailed guidance on the extensive wine list, local oyster selection, and menu options. We especially enjoyed the tomato salad topped with a light lemon ricotta and the Fluke Crudo with vanilla citrus confit. However, the highlight of the meal was the grilled halibut collar. We finished off the evening with a delightful olive oil cake.

Excellent presentation, delicious oysters. Spent Christmas Eve here with my husband. We were thrilled to find a place to get oysters on Christmas Eve and treated very well. We're coming back!

Amazing food! Exceptional service! We’ve been there last week with a group of friends. We sat at the deck and at first we weren’t sure about the menu. Thank God for amazing server Kate who was sweet and personable and knew EVERYTHING about the food and drinks. I think otherwise we would go somewhere else. I fell in love with ‘smoky and herbaceous’ Rose by other name. We are still raving about the Clams with chorizo, mussels and the bass special. Next time we will try the Fish Collars. Beautiful spot on the water!
