Monks Cheesesteaks Cheeseburgers

Me and my mother dropped through coming from Virginia yesterday and we got a cheeseburger, fries, and cheese steak and I must say the food was excellent and so was the service, also very clean environment loved it. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends

This place is awesome! We moved down to NC a couple years ago from MA. We missed good cheesesteaks and Monks appeared out of the clouds as if a sign to say 'we have your cheesesteaks, come to us ', so we did and haven 't stopped. Monks is our default go-to dinner option. The food is always consistently delicious. We typically get the cheesesteaks and fries, though the onion rings are pretty spot on as well. I recently decided I needed some veggies in my life and went for the grilled chicken salad. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and I think marinaded in something (though I am sure you won 't tell us the secret recipe) and the veggies were super fresh. Last but certainly not least, the staff here is so welcoming and friendly. Every time I come, I enjoy my visit and conversation with Tito and Javi. It is a family owned business and it feels like everyone that goes in is treated like we are part of the big and growing family.

I have been visiting Monks while in Greensboro. The food is great but most importantly, the owners and staff are caring, giving me encouraging words during a difficult time. I love the food and the people!

Wonderful cheese steak great mix of beef onions peppers and mushrooms seasoned to perfection. The crinkle cut fries where nice and crispy without being over done the same goes for the onion rings. If one really wants to splurge add the amazing cheese sauce to your fries. Best cheese steak in the piedmont hands down.
