The owners, Dave and Steve, have a gentle approach to promoting a vegan diet that is quite refreshing. The restaurant not only serves delicious vegan dishes but also makes you more aware of what you are putting into your body. The coconut and squash soup is heavenly, the shepherdless pie is both delicious and cleverly named, and the Buddha bowl is a must-try. Don't miss out on their "healthy" Nutella - just try not to eat the whole tub in one sitting! Trust me, it's worth it.
If you have a sweet tooth, there is a selection of cakes available, although they are a bit pricey. A variety of hot and cold drinks are also offered at reasonable prices. The neighboring shop sells a range of healthy products. The restaurant has ample seating both inside and outside. There is no waiter service, so you pay upon entering and find your own seat. Overall, I would definitely go back and highly recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely delish food. I had the Aubergine bake with beetroot and a potato salad. My partner had the black bean burger, both were gorgeous and we got huge portions managed to box some up and take home with us.. The Q was pretty big however the 2 brothers were out giving us all samples of their protein bars and hummus.. Will defo be back.. The pics say it all
Happy pear is always super busy during my lunch. So I try go in the mornings when living out in greystones. Been going here for years use to always go for there smoothies. Now I go for there hot chocolates there so yum. Always get the milk chocolate one they make it with chocolate chips. Also big fan of there Pestos. Don't usually go here for lunch as its a bit pricey but love popping in for a take away hot chocolate but they do a good soup and pitta and humus with salad thing
Finally got myself down to Greystones to eventually try my tongue at the most hyped up health food cafe! I was beyond excited and it certainly lived up to my expectations! Myself and my friend both got a soup and salad which included two salads of generous helpings. The soup was lovely and at a perfect temperature, which can sometimes be an issue when serving soups! The salads were absolutely to die for, as I went for the beetroot (I'm a lover of beetroot) and then took a chance at a rice salad with carrot which I would definitely approve! The soup at salad came to €7.00 as we sat down, rather than take-out which was €6.00/€6.50 I can't remember exactly. Really reasonable for the quality and the quantity of food! I always feel so willing to pay that little bit extra when you feel like you're doing your body good! Couldn't leave without trying their coffee so grabbed a good Flat White which was second to none! Atmosphere was lovely and relaxed and staff were superb and very helpful! I'll be sure to go back!
