Just had an excellent Sunday roast, great value, plus the ale is good. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Took a walk from Goathland to Grosmont and planned on having a few beers and wines before the train home but the pub was shut on a Wednesday lunch. Their loss.

Looking on website, opens at 12 o clock. Arrived at 1.30, not open so can not give a proper review. Disappointed.

Very busy for food could only have a drink. Next to North York Moors Railway. Small but good atmosphere.

Went for drink three of us rugby was on and bar man wasn’t happy he had customers. Won’t bother again. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
