Gallery Cafe - GROSSETO

I do not know if you deserve 4 or 5 stars, because for a nostalgic like me the gallery has always been synonymous with “after dinner”; but time passes, now it is no longer, to make me a reason it is difficult, but the dishes present in paper are of high level, with adequate portions and a smart and fun service. black cutters and cod are worthy of a starry restaurant. How home! if I have to make a note, the pre-covide cacciucco was certainly higher than the one presented in paper now. but you know, sometimes happy the will of the customer means compromise! sin. the prices, more than honest, move the balance to 5/5.

Bad level of service, not a smile. We have only taken for a drink for four people but it was enough!

We were looking for a nice restaurant in the historic centre of Grosseto and found this little jewel. The tables were outside in a quiet cobbled street. The waitress was friendly and made us feel welcome. My daughter had bruschette as a starter, and spaghetti alla carbonara as a main dish. It looked delicious and she liked it. I had a little mixed salad as a starter, which was made of fresh greens, cherry tomatos and freshly grated carrots. My main dish was Pici alla vegana, which meant homemade thick spaghetti with a slices of tasty ripe tomatos, fresh herbs, olive oil and pecorino cheese. A simple but very savoury dish. I can only recommend this restaurant!

Service is slow and unfriendly, especially the woman with the grey hair. I'm not sure if she means to be unfriendly or that her English is bad. But just a friendly face and a smile cost nothing We ordered pizza and we needed an ax to get through, tomato sauce was missing, it was very salt and though. We don't even consider it a pizza as it's more like bread with oil from a pizza oven. My son said: but the cola was good. I think that sums it up.... So below average food and far below average experience. For the owner: you have a nice location, but please get the standards up to par.

Family-run restaurant, excellent sea and land cuisine with fresh seasonal ingredients at very low prices. very nice terrace and music. central but quiet. It's the third time we get back!
