My husband and I ate here many years ago and recently returned and found the same people running it which was lovely. Very welcoming. Helpful waiter pleasant surrounding and clean toilets. The ribs were fabulous and escargot fresh and tasty. Also ate pizza which was...crisp and tasty.
Hands down, this place has the best vegetarian options. they have the usual veggie burger, cheese dishes, pasta and pizza, but also other dinge. they use erdnuss to fry, but, so remember when they are allergic. the prices are appropriate according to Swiss standards. the veggie fajitas are my favorites. they add artichoke hearts to the pfeffer, adding a beautiful little kick. the hot sauce is spicy without being overwhelming. the mezze platter is good, but it is great, so note that when they order as an appetizer. I also didn't like the red pepper drop, it was a bit dirty. I liked the aubergine reels, but was not sure what they were pairing. the Greek salate seemed like a bit too much to eat so, too bad it doesn't come in an appetizer size. the veggie burger is quite good, but the brot has clear egg in it, so if she vegan or lacto-veg this dish is not for her. the woofer rings are amazing! I asked for additional ketchup, since Swiss restaurants tend to stick with ketchup, but I didn't really need it because it comes with a really nice bbq sauce, to serve in a generous. I haven't ordered a pizza yet, but I have a bite of my child, and it was quite delicious. I like that they have these slips that they can fill in to choose their own slippers. I haven't tried the curry or big salad yet. my non-vegetarian man had the Buddha's shelves and hamburger, and I think a kind of fish and liked everyone. the desserts are amazing! I like the speculoos cup and the one after eight tassen best. I really appreciate that they can order a mini version with two instead of three blades that feels like a much more reasonable amount of ice. still huge, but not crazy.
Always receive a friendly reception. great service, delicious food and weeping. eat here every visit in villars.
This is a fantastic family-run restaurant with great staff and eating the pizza is made in a large old brotback oven and the chef is amazing nothin is too much annoying and the selection of foods is very wide I had the escargot. they were great followed by a mix of pizza and fajitas that we shared. eat a little strange mix of steaks, burgers, thai, pizza, föndues, which will take care of everyone. nothing on the menu is anything but the first price a must visit and the owner charlie is very welcoming
