The view of the city from this restaurant is amazing. It is the best part of the meal unfortunately. Our food was ice cold and the power went our several times during the meal leaving us in the pitch dark. Word of warning: this restaurant...is up several flights of very steep steps on the side of a hill. Oxygen tanks should be provided.
The restaurant is about three flights of steps up behind the Teatro Juarez and well worth the climb. Eat on the terrace for a great view, just below the view from el Pipila.
After three months in guanajuato I would rate this one of my favorite restaurants overall and the best in centro historico. It is not my most frequented because it takes climbing 4 flights of stairs to get there and usually there are not many (if...any) other diners there. Not a place to go when you are dining alone as I usually am. The tuna is amazing, the salads excepitonal, and pastas are better than the italian restaurants in town. Overall the food is only better (in my opinion) at IK-ETZNAB and LAS MERCEDES but the view cannot be matched. I highly recommend this restaurant.
