A Mother's Day dinner ruined. Seated promptly by a nice host. Drinks came pretty quick but were not refilled. ****** Mary was laughable for the $10 they charged for it. Appetizers were the only good part. We tried for 10 minutes to flag a waitress down to have our drinks refilled. Food came out and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The amount of money we paid for the sub par food was ridiculous. Soft shell crab poboy...1 crab on sandwich that was so small it barely took up half the sandwich. Mostly bread that was torn off and not eaten. It came with a cup of gumbo...we asked for a bowl and wouldn't have minded paying the upcharge but when we received the cup, we asked about the bowl and was rudely told that it only comes with a cup. Good thing though because the roux was burnt and gumbo was gross. My mother got the wrong sides which was remedied. I can't eat seafood so I asked the waitress if I could sub the shrimp on the mixed grill for chicken....they gave me 1 chicken strip for a handful of shrimp. $29 dollars for 3 Walmart chicken strips and a 2 inch piece of sausage. Are you kidding me?! I had to scream ma'am across the restaurant for our waitress to acknowledge us for napkins and some butter, then she didn't being the napkins. Manager heard me and just looked. Never walked over to check on us or anything. My daughter got up and got them herself. Nothing was bussed and we had salad/bread plates sitting for a long time. Late last night my son in law ended up with food poisoning from the fish he ate. $200 bill for a horrible experience. Bad service, bad food, and food poisoning. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS. They do not deserve our money.
Pretty sure the crab legs/lobster are second or even third day rejects from the buffet next door..You can't convince us otherwise..lol..The lobster was too chewy to eat and the crab legs disintegrated as we were “ripping” them open..they were both bone dry and the shells were very rubbery..didn’t need the claw crackers..lol..I’ve eaten both lobster and crab legs many times at buffets, home cooked and the Jordan River Steamer (the best)..it was almost hilarious that they would serve these to people..We didn’t complain due the waitress being a sweetheart, we all just smiled politely when she suggested we come again..Never again..We enjoyed our family time there (it was our youngest first time trying lobster) but the “steamed” seafood was horrendous..The candied sweet potatoes and salad were pretty good, but definitely not worth another trip ?
Good seafood, friendly service. Prices were good for the quality of food. I had snow crab legs. They were just excellent. I am visiting here again! Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly! Our group had 1 person on a electric wheelchair, 1 on a electric scooter. We had 2 service animals as well. They were more than accommodating!!
Food was good. Bread was cold, not fresh out of the oven like it says. They brought out the wrong dish so one of us ate and the other sat for 40 minutes waiting on food without anything to drink. Asked server for water-she never offered a refill-and she never brought the one I asked for. After waitress never came back to our table for quite some time I requested for a manager from the host stand to explain we were sat 1 hour and 15 minutes ago with a reservation. We still were missing a meal and no drinks! Then when my meal arrived by a food runner still no drink. Manager came over and brought water, apologized, and offered a dessert for my husband to eat as he waited for me to eat. The bill was $100 for 2 entrees, wine, beer, and water. The dessert was complimentary. Very disappointed for our first time and our anniversary. A bunch of Im sorry with absolutely no explanation. It was truly bizarre but awful service. I believe this place has some server and management issues.
