Kasturi - Guwahati

We went for a nice Sunday lunch today as a family. We had a wonderful time with our server being one of the best. He knew what to suggest and how much. It is my first visit to a restaurant in Guwahati after 2.5 years and I was very pleased. The bill was approx. 3500 for four adults, quite reasonable. Definitely coming back again.

Tried this restaurant on my trip to North-East. Amidst all the items we ordered, Kochu Pata Diye Chingri Bhaapa was outstanding. I don't eat prawns as such. But this speciality of the brand left me crave for more. Service is good and staff are friendly, they help us choose the dishes for us. Prices are on higher side , but it's worth a try.

The dal,aloo bhujia and vegetable was really very nice.Basanti pulao and mutton daak were the show stoppers!They also sign off the mini thaki with hot gulab jamun..Surely a place worth visiting..We had ordered 2 mini thalis ,1 basanti pulao and 1 mutton daak bungalow..The final bill was ₹1300...Worth the money i would say!

It was good. I had prawns malai curry in some coconut it was served and steamed fish. Both were good. A bit difficult to locate the restaurant but its on the road
