I would recommend that everyone try the Dum biriyanis atleast once. the Veg Pulao with chicken butter masala is great.. The staff is good behavior and the owner is a great person..infact he is a great cook himself. The place is hygienic and overall his five star experience for me..

This is my place for a quick bite and so I will be a bit biased with my review. Star Biryani is a small fast food joint with just few spots to sit, but most of the regular customers usually opt for home delivery (which is of course free) so sitting is not a problem most of the times. The place, as the name says, is famous for its Chicken Biryani. Every bite is decadent, aromatic and tasteful, I have Biryani all day every day for a month straight. But this place offers much more than that. Lunch thali is a complete opposite Biryani, simple and hearty and the vegetable stew tastes healthy. Then again the Indian-Chinese fast food dishes, which are also good. I especially like the chicken roll with Minze Chutney along with a cup of steaming hot coffee.

Awesome and delicious food at a great price. The owner is chef with a long experience in many famous restaurants of Guwahati. It also creates dishes outside the menu when we request it. They also serve very well biriyani.
