The prices are reasonable, with pints for less than £5 and generous portion sizes for £12 to £13. The location is beautiful and the staff are friendly and efficient. The owner runs the place well. While some parts could use a little sprucing up, it is a genuine family-run business that supports the local community. Overall, I think it's fantastic and a convenient stop for those visiting Snowdon. I will definitely be returning with more friends.
Lovely pub, only a few minutes from our campsite. I had ham chips and salad, reminiscent of teas with my granny. My husband had the snowdonia burger, both super tasty and fresh . We sat outside , dog friendly, staff lovely, would highly recommend
I would rate this restaurant a perfect 10 out of 10. The portion sizes were generous, with even the children's meals being enough for an adult. The atmosphere was fantastic, and my three friends and I enjoyed two delicious meals here during our camping weekend.
I agree with the reviewer who said this place has a social club-type feel. The place could do with a bit of sprucing up and, because of these elements, it does feel like the prices for meals are too high. However, the location is good, staff were friendly, we did enjoy our main meals and the portions were quite large. The puddings were expensive and disappointing though. We wouldn't rush back but wouldn't rule out a return if we had no luck with an alternative.
After reading other reviews I was a little dubious. The pub isn’t a pub as such, more of a social club feel and given it’s a micro brewery the beer selection was a little disappointing. The food however was good, chicken pie with big chunks of chicken breast and lean ham, lots of chips and (slightly cold) veg. Campsite showers are fantastic!
