Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Hagerstown

I tried to place a phone order by calling at 843, but the person who answered said they don’t accept call-in orders, even though I successfully placed one just three days ago. He then mentioned it was too close to closing time. When I arrived at the store at 8:53 PM, the door was locked despite seeing staff inside. I had informed the guy who answered the phone that we would be there shortly. I plan to call the manager tomorrow and will also report this to the district manager.

The driver truly made the experience stand out. The system mistakenly sent him to the wrong address, but he reached out to me right away to clarify where he needed to go. We've had him deliver to us before, and his delivery style sets the bar for all other drivers. He is communicative, friendly, and clearly takes pride in his work. I can't recommend him highly enough!

I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars because the bathrooms are out of order and have been for quite a while. It's really inconvenient to stop here during my lunch break only to have to look for a bathroom elsewhere. I simply don't have the time for that. There's a sign that says "out of order, sorry for the inconvenience," but honestly, just be straightforward and say there are no public restrooms if that's the case. I can't imagine it takes months to fix a bathroom.

The smoothies are soo good! i love the peanut butter cup. i definitely recommend!!

I stopped by to grab a smoothie, and while I was waiting, I noticed something concerning. One of the employees, a woman in grey slippers, was in the back picking her nose. She then came out to prepare smoothies for customers. Meanwhile, the supervisor seemed more focused on chatting with his staff about his workout routine than supervising them. If this is how employees behave with several customers in the store, I can only imagine how she maintains her work station. I chose not to ask for a refund and simply left.
