Unlike many establishments that simply reheat pre-packaged meals, this pub prepares their dishes using fresh ingredients. The owner, who is vegetarian, ensures there is always a satisfying selection of vegetarian dishes available, which are of high quality. While vegan options are also offered, we have yet to sample them.
I really enjoyed the soup of the day (roasted tomatoes) and the spinach and mushroom cake. The delicious fresh homemade chips were also a hit.
Quite good vegan eating for a rural pub! a few options on the vegan menu. had a vegan pizza with vegan cheese that was pretty good, although cheese a little sperm. good breakfast options if you stay overnight in the hotel!
It is unusual for a rural pub to offer a full vegan menu, but this one does. I tried the cauliflower fritters, which were more like deep-fried cauliflower strips. Although they lacked taste, they were still good. My wife had the delicious vegan meatballs and rice. My meal was a bit bland, so I suggest getting something sweet to balance it out, like the cauliflower fritters. Overall, it was a satisfying meal of pub grub that left us feeling very full.
Came here tonight for birthday. the website said there was a vegan menu and we were not disappointed. there were even vegan wein who is not always in pubs the fall. we had the mushroom bitters, filled paprika, fajitas and veg stirring. it was also all nice and very friendly service!
