La Piazza Resto Cafe - Halifax

Enjoy our meal and excellent service in this neighboring restaurant in front of the beaten away. well the few blocks from the city inside and has many nearby street parking in a residential area. the portions are large (we will share the next time more) and the eating is delicious. the calamari is very spicy that I really enjoyed, but too hot for the woman. my Funghi pizza was a little bland, but the 3 others on our table enjoyed their other choices.

Very enjoyed our meal, cozy little restaurant. friendly staff. the meals were delicious and beautifully presented. was really busy, surprisingly for a Sunday night, we are glad that we have a reservation. my only complaining was that all our cappuccinos were cold to foam the milk longer!

The food was fabulous, service was very well timed. Cosy ambience. Very enjoyable dinner.

Piazza is always great, but nobody there heard of open table. Lol.

We held a family birthday celebration here for 15 adults on the evening of Sat, July 13th, and we were all very pleased with the venue, food, and especially the dedicated service. I live in NB and had never been to Las Piazza Resto Cafe before I selected the restaurant solely based on it coming up as a recommendation from OpenTable when the original restaurant I tried to book was unavailable. Fortunately, everything worked out very well and we had the upstairs area to ourselves which was perfect. For the main course, several people in our party had the pizza which looked delicious, while the rest of us enjoyed a variety of other different entrees. There was something for everyone on the menu at various price points, and all seemed happy with their meal and the portion size. Prices appeared to be very reasonable for the type and quality of food that was served. It was a great evening and I look forward to going back on a future trip to Halifax. Thank you to our servers for a job well done! (Note: the only hiccup was when I called to confirm my reservation on Friday for Saturday evening. The restaurant did not have record of it. Fortunately, they were still ble to accommodate us. If you reserve through OpenTable, it may be prudent to call to make sure they have the reservation.
