Great pub, grade 11 listed so a bit drafty but friendly staff and customers and a great chef.

I visited this pub for the first time today, and I was really impressed. The staff was excellent, and the beer was fantastic. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, creating a lovely local vibe. The pub boasts great facilities, including a wonderful children's playground at the back, a terrace, parking, and a beautiful hotel room block. The selection of alcoholic beverages is extensive, so I will definitely be coming back more often.

Since we started going to this pub, the owners and staff have been incredibly friendly, and the drinks are great. My husband loves that he can watch football while we're there, which definitely earns it a five-star rating from him!

This is a great place to stay, especially during busy events when you're just passing through. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the breakfast was enjoyable. I had an issue with the shower, but it was resolved the same day. Overall, if we find ourselves in the area again, I would definitely consider returning.
