Giovanni's Pizza

I used to attend Giovanni's Years ago at an older location but started venturing elsewhere for pizza. I just visited this mew location and I'm very glad that I did. The prices is very reasonable compared to most. The food itself was amazing, hot, fresh and delicious. Definitely some of the best pizza in town for the price. The server others were very nice, friendly helpful. We will be returning more often because it's worth it

Oh, I used the app to order a pizza to go which is what is suggested to you whenever you called to place the delivery. Considering I love pizza and see myself ordering multiple times getting rewards is an easy deal so I signed up. I want to preface if you’ve ever use the Hungry Howies app before this app feels like the exact same thing, but somehow worse. The only thing that I’ll tell you is that you placed an order and it’s up to you to guess when it’s ready to go pick it up. disregarding that the food was pretty good. I was slightly annoyed that it was it hard all the way through but I have to chop it down to. They were cleaning and prepare to close (2 hours before they closed). I am optimistic and do not mind chalking this initial take up to a wonky night. I believe either the best establishments sometimes do just okay.

We ate at the one near University of Pikeville. The people working there were incredibly nice and helpful. The pizza and calzone were so good, and even bigger than expected. Parking would have been easy but we walked a block from the Hampton Inn so we didn’t need parking. Clean restrooms. Would go again! Husband got a meat lover’s pizza and I got a pineapple calzone.

If you don't want to actually receive what you pay for then definitely order a delivery order from Giovanni's. I ordered one time and nothing got delivered and called and I was told it wasn't their fault because they give it to DoorDash, this isn't stated on their site and they charge a delivery fee, and they don't know what happens after they hand it over. After some arguing with a manager I agreed to come pick up my order. I decided to give them a second try tonight and when the DoorDash driver got here he was missing a pizza, I asked and he said he wasn't given it. I called and was told they must have forgot but they have no way to get it to me, so I can either get refunded for the pizza or come get it. I pointed out I paid a delivery fee and tip to have it delivered and she said she would see what she could do and call me back, it's been about an hour though and I haven't heard anything so I'm not very hopeful. They have horrible customer service and don't take responsibility for anything!

We were driving though and stopped here because we wanted to go to a 'local ' pizza place. The service was fantastic and it was very clean on the inside with a cute little patio, but the pizza itself wasn 't very good. They did offer more than just pizza, which is always good.
