When we had the chance to go and spend a few days in the city we thought it would be fun to experience some of the great eating establishments there. Having been...to the Burnt Tongue a few years back I knew I had to take her there to try one of their famous soups. It did not disappoint. People were lined up to get in as it is very small but well worth the wait. Soups were delicious. We also had to try the fries that they are also known for. The Burnt Tongue is so popular they have opened a second location on Locke Street. If you are a soup lover we highly recommend The Burnt Tongue. Very generous portions and always at least 5 or 6 choices to choose from.
Burnt Tongue small but funky restaurant to eat in at both of their Hamilton Locations but some of the best homemade soups and salads that I have ever had! Great comfort food for the many times inclement weather in Canada.
Their food is good, it's prices reasonably but the overall flavor on most of the soups is very similar or lacking in seasoning at times. I would still highly recommend Burnt Tongue and I've gone several times and been mostly pleased with everything I've had.
I was expecting this place to have amazing soup. I’ve been multiple times and have been unimpressed each time. Prices are high considering the portions are small and not satisfying
I love going to the Burnt Tongue so a soup during the winter season. I usually visit the Westdale location which seems to have a greater selection of soups. However, the Locke St location is nice because it has seating areas to enjoy your soup....All of their soups are fantastic, my personal favourite is the Samosa soup. The french fries were also yummy! It is a little bit pricey for soup, but its a nice treat
