The chicken Chow Mein was disappointing—it didn't have any noodles, just soggy chicken with bean sprouts. The rice and chicken were alright, but the sweet and sour sauce tasted watered down. Overall, it's an average Chinese restaurant, but I've definitely had better meals elsewhere.
I ordered the house special fried rice and the orange beef, but I was quite disappointed. The beef was overly sweet and lacked any spices, while the rice was no better and didn't have a flavor I enjoyed. Given the prices, I expected much more. It used to be great years ago, but it has steadily declined. I won't be coming back.
This restaurant once offered the best orange beef in the city, but my recent visit was disappointing. The orange beef was overcooked to the extent that it was nearly inedible, and the sauce resembled molasses more than the traditional orange sauce. The fried rice was lacking flavor, and the cheese Rangoon contained very little cheese. On a positive note, the service was impressively fast.
We ordered the Family Meal featuring orange beef and sweet and sour chicken, and we also added the Vegetable Chow Mein or Chop Suey. Everything arrived fresh, hot, and well-packaged. The orange beef was delicious and not too spicy at all. The spring roll was the best I've ever tasted! The vegetables were crunchy and full of flavor. This meal could easily serve four people or provide two meals for two. It was my first time ordering, and I will definitely return!
