The Coach House - Hamilton

I am going to love working here can't wait to meet everyone 2nd week of October. Here's to great beginning's. Everything is top notch and lined with gold. Food is phenomenal and the spirits are elevated. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend

Should have kept that GM named Mike that realized it was a restaurant in a retirement community and no one would drive a long way for some new unproven chef to show off. Also the waitress Toni was horrible.

A group of friends and I enjoyed another lovely evening at the Coach House Restaurant Friday. Great food, service, and live music. We shared three wonderful starters. The Municipal Brew Works beer battered onion rings were so tender and flavorful. The Korean glazed fried cauliflower topped with mixed greens, carrots, radish, red cabbage and sesame seeds was exceptional. The delicate, house made chicken sausage in puff pastry, served with mustard sauce and topped with 80 Acres micro greens was delightful. For my entree, I enjoyed the fall-off the bone tender braised pork shank very much. It was accompanied by tender acorn squash, barley, and apple with a hint of fennel and arugula, all accented by a lovely blue cheese cream. The meal ended with a sweet and slightly tart pear and cranberry crisp with cinnamon ice cream from Hamilton 's Village Parlor. Perfect! This lovely meal was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and served by a wonderful staff. Another lovely evening of great food, conversation, and music at the Coach House Restaurant.

Typically we love the Coachhouse but this time we were very disappointed. I ordered Balsamic on my salad but got sweet and sour. When I asked the waitress she told me it was Balsamic. It wasn’t, I know what Balsamic Vinaigrette looks and tastes like. This wasn’t. My wife’s fish was way over cooked. Just a bad night I guess as there was a big event in the other room. So our meals didn’t get the attention they typically would. But we do love the Coachhouse.
