El Nonno Restaurant - HAMILTON SOUTH

We visited this restaurant for the second time and once again it was extremely busy, with people waiting at the door. Despite the slow service, we didn't mind because the food was outstanding. The saltimbocca was so tender and delicious, with a perfectly balanced lemon sauce. The pasta and meatballs were just like Nonna makes. We absolutely adore this place.

I haven't been to El Nonno in a while, but it won't be long before my next visit! I love that you can have a conversation, even us older folks with hearing impairments can join in, especially outside. Owner Alex and his team always make dining a pleasure, with great food, attentive service, and a laid-back atmosphere. Bringing your own wine or beer is a great option, saving money and ensuring you can enjoy your favorite drink. El Nonno is truly one of our favorite dining spots.

This is the best Italian food I have had in years at a fantastic price. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a delicious meal and wants to feel full without spending a lot of money. It is BYO, which is a bonus for me as other restaurants charge too much for wine. Thank you to the entire staff, and I hope to see you all again very soon.
