I was highly disappointed in the way this store handled a transaction that one of their employees messed up. I placed an order for cupcakes on Feb. 12th, 2019 with the intention of picking them up on my nana's 90th birthday for Feb. 15th, 2019 between the hours of 3 6pm for a small gathering that we were having later that night. The ONLY reason that I ordered cupcakes at their Hammond location is because I travel through here everyday and bakery options were limited and because of their great reviews I thought I would give them a try. When I arrived at this location Friday Feb. 15th after 3PM, I was told by the obviously embarrassed employee, that my order was NOT ready and after she made a few phone calls to see what the issue was with my order, she was told that my order was placed to be picked up for Sat. Feb. 16th. I am a responsible adult that utilizes calendars on a day to day basis, so the fact that this locations mistake was nonchalantly brushed off, does not sit well with me. I know when I placed the order and I know when it was supposed to be picked up. I was only offered 10 percent off on ANOTHER ORDER. Don't get me wrong the girl behind the counter was, kind and apologetic and it wasn't her fault she wasn't the person who took my initial order and she didn't screw it up. She did refund my initial payment of $22.97 and because I could not leave empty handed, I re purchased an order of 12 cupcakes that were less than decent for a whopping $35.46. For nana's 90th she wanted nothing more than a carrot cake cupcake and she was severely let down. I'm not expecting this bakery to rectify the situation clearly something could have been done when the counter associate called to inquire about the missing order. Needless to say, if Nana lives to see her 91st Birthday, I will drive to Mandeville before I settle for this kind of chaos again. UPDATE: Shortly after my previous post, the store owner of Cupcake Concept called me personally to sincerely apologize for the incorrect order and offered to make the situation right. Little does she know, she has gained a customer for LIFE. It's good to see small businesses like this one blossom and that this owner stands behind her brand (and word). Nana absolutely loved her cupcakes and eventhough she isn't able to physically stand to bake these cupcakes gave her a glimmer of hope and inspired her enough to attempt to whip up a batch of her own (albeit with a little help). Thanks Cupcake Concept will definitely be ordering here again in the future.

Great place to satisfy your sweet tooth. They have a great frequent shopper card system too. Bring your friends or partners to get the sweet that’s perfect for them. Situated near Tope La, so it’s great for a post dinner desert if you dine early enough.

I booked my 8 year old granddaughters Bday and was unsure of a cup cake making party keeping these very active children occupied. When we first arrived (a good 30 minutes before party) the room looked like an 8 year old girly girls dream. Our unicorn themed party was an absolute HIT ! All of our guest even boys, fathers, moms and daughters for sure had a great time. The staff was very involved and friendly with the children and helpful with the parents. The manager/owner was there throughout our party.
