I think part of the confusion here is the fact that this place has three distinct menus: 1. A hot bar that features Chinese Malaysian Japanese fusion, with things like Peanut Satay and spring rolls, and 'meal deals ' that come with soft drink. 2. A cold bar with Nori rolls, Sashimi boxes, and fusion rice paper rolls. 3. A la carte hot food to order. This is the Japanese menu. My 5 star review is for Menu 3. For good value freshly made Japanese food at lunch time, there aren 't better in town. You can get rice bowls (don) soups (ramen and udon) all just under $10 and also bento boxes for $3 more which come with miso soup, salad, crab salad, some tempura veg, choice of main, and rice. This has become a pretty regular lunch place for me. Salmon bento is amazing. As this is a franchise you can read the official menu on the generic website.
I have an intense addiction to your sushi. Sweet Lord.
This is one of THE MOST exceptional restaraunts I've eaten at. Delicious and fair prices, the staff were friendly and the food was generous and awesome. I HIGHLY recommend.
