So, we decided to stop in. The smell of BBQ wafted through the air outside. The interior is nothing fancy, but every table was occupied except for the one we chose. A lovely waitress promptly took our order and accommodated our special requests without issue. Soon, we were served some delicious homemade potato ribbons that were superb. The main course was generous in portion and incredibly tasty. We only wished we had room left for dessert. We are so glad we decided to stop here!
Pops is a charming BBQ restaurant with an extensive menu and a wonderful atmosphere. It has a cozy, locally-owned feel, complete with a wooden sign out front and a gravel parking lot. Upon entering, you seat yourself, and the staff promptly take your drink and food orders. On a busy Friday night, my meal arrived in under 10 minutes. I really enjoyed my regular-sized brisket plate, which came with complimentary homemade potato chips as a starter. I would definitely return here if I'm in the area again.
I absolutely loved this family-run restaurant! It's conveniently located near the interstate, offering plenty of parking and a drive-thru option. The service was warm and welcoming. I stopped by for breakfast and ordered a special along with a side of smoked chicken. When my food arrived, they also included a white BBQ sauce, which is a local favorite. The food was incredible, and the sauce was delicious! We also inquired about getting a couple of brisket sandwiches to take with us since it was only 9 AM, and they were more than happy to accommodate our request, even though they were quite busy. I'm really looking forward to having them for lunch soon!
