Gorditas Dona Lula - Harlingen

Excellent gorditas at a good price! They are a bit small as mentioned in other reviews, but the combo with three gorditas and a sopita was a perfect lunch. Salsa is very spicy and delicious. Only critique of the food was that the agua fresca tastes like it's from a powder mix rather than fresh. I'll be back!!Food: 5/5

The food at this restaurant is incredibly flavorful. The only downside is that the gorditas are a bit small compared to traditional ones, but this is not meant as disrespect. The staff is very friendly and the food is fantastic. I appreciate the wide variety of options available. Overall, I give the food a 5 out of 5 rating.

This was my first time at this restaurant and I wasn't aware that the portions would be extra small. The papas and chorizo dish was a bit runny but still delicious, as was the quesadilla with beans. They also offer the option of serving it in a flour tortilla. The prices are fairly cheap, but the portions are very small, so be prepared to order extra if you're hungry!

This restaurant used to be an affordable place to eat with their daily specials, but now with the removal of any specials in their menu it is tragically completely un-affordable. I believe they will lose a substantial portion of their client base and be a counter productive move tragically. Greed does not pay.
