Roaches. After ordering the duke's platter which was missing the fried pickles..after about ten minutes after eating we had to knock off and stomp a roach. Saw 2 more and cashed out.
Waited 45 mins to get a drink before walking out. Got their early too. There was no one really inside. Shame their bartenders can't keep up. Main reason I refused to go bar hopping up here. Ain't nothing like Richmond.
I have been to many bars in the great town of Harrisonburg, and Dukes is without a doubt the most pathetic to have made it on a list of mine. Their small rectangle of a 'bar ' combined with poor management and service led to a very poor experience in comparison to the other bars in the locale, and I would recommend anywhere in the vicinity but this place. There is more than a handful of better options than this -hole downtown of Harrisonburg, my advice would be to spend your money elsewhere.
It was pretty good The wings are really good They had wings unlike the gobbler grill in timberville that did not have wings. The owner of the gobler grill said he couldn't get wings in I asked this guy if he had a problem with getting wings in was there a shortage and he left and said no. They were out of wings. This place had wings and they were good. The bartender was very respectful and gave great service thanks a lot.
