Lovely village pub with lots of parking and friendly staff Service: 5 Location: 5
New landlords new rules. This is now a dog friendly pub. Previous owner did not allow dogs inside the pub even though the area attracts a lot of dog walkers. It's good to know we can bring our dog inside in the winter months. The food was lovely. Good service and the staff are friendly and welcoming. What a wonderfully charming pub in the heart of Crondall! Dating back to the 16th century, the pub feels traditional and comfortable in equal measure. There is a good-sized car park around the back and outdoor seating front and back. The inside is cosy with low ceilings and exposed beams. The food is a level above other pubs, I can recommend the chilli crab linguine or the beef and red wine pie. Under new management since early 2023, the former RAF landlord welcomes families, dogs, walkers, cyclists, and locals alike. Prices are in line with the quality experience offered.
