Applebee's Grill - Hartsville

DO NOT TIP BEFORE YOU PICK UP YOUR FOOD! The food was fantastic, but the delivery to our car was terrible. We waited in the designated pickup area, and since we were the only car there, we were clearly visible through the restaurant window. After over 10 minutes, I tried calling the restaurant, but no one answered. I even called Applebee's customer service, and they attempted to connect me to the restaurant, but still no response. Eventually, I went inside to get our food, only to discover that they had left some entrees out of my order. They claimed it was just sitting in the back. I regret leaving a tip when I placed my order; I won't make that mistake again!

The waitress was excellent, and the food was good and served promptly. I believe they should hire a few more staff members to clear tables, but overall, it was a fantastic experience! I would definitely dine there again!

The service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible! I ordered my food, which arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but no one came back to check on us or ask if we needed refills. The worst part was that the management didn’t acknowledge us at all; they only spoke to the tables around us. I’m giving this place one star because the kitchen staff did an excellent job with the food.

I wanted a specific drink, but since they were out of it, the waitress recommended a sangria. Unfortunately, it tasted like a can of fruit cocktail in syrup topped with low-quality wine—hardly drinkable. **Service (3/5):** Our waitress was friendly but clearly overwhelmed. She only checked on us twice during the meal. **Atmosphere (2/5):** The restaurant was quite crowded, especially considering the COVID situation. We noticed a poor man standing in the lobby the entire time, seemingly waiting for his takeout order and returning to the restaurant multiple times to resolve the issue. We used to enjoy Applebee's, but this experience has made us rethink our decision to return.

My family and I are big fans of Applebee's, but unfortunately, this location didn't quite hit the mark. Everything could have been much better. It seems our server did her best with what she had to work with, but it just didn't come together.
