One might think it was Thai but the food items were either fried or steamed and the dishes lacked the traditional Thai herbs and spices. To make the dishes flavorful or tasty all dishes had accompanying chili sauce. Portions were small and pricey and they didn't bring you rice unless you asked for it and they charged you by the plate.... real weird!
We went there to have dinner quite cheap cost me 2000bath to have a crab platter, some fresh oysters,a big bowl of soup , one plate of vegetables and a big plate of grilled prawns yummy
Microwaved food, with enough sugar to shoot your insulin levels through the roof. The steamed fish wasn 't streamed, but looked and tasted like it was microwaved straight out of the freezer, hoping to pass it off as freshly cooked food. It amazes me how the business owners can sit at the counter and take your money without any guilt or remorse, knowing that their quality and food standards are befitting of a run down zoo. The only saving grace of this rip off eatery was the attentive waitresses, who deserve to be employed somewhere better which serves real food. Gordon Ramsey, if you ever read this review, pls go and shoot an episode for your Kitchen Nightmares series. I guarantee you it 'll garner over a million views!
Although the restaurant was known for their crabs and seafood, we found the crab and lobster lacked umami and overall flavour. The highlights for us were actually the fried grouper and stir fried morning glory. The grouper was fried perfectly underneath a bed of a light mango salad with extra crispy mini shrimps. I would still recommend checking this place out but I would only get the traditional thai food.
To me its so so only. I prefer Jaelek which is more genuine thai but some find it a bit spicy hot. For me its just right.
