Had wonton noodle soup, 6 x pork dumplings and meat in a toasted bun. Quick service. The noodles, wontons and dumplings had a wonderful chewy texture and lovely flavour. A popular place to eat. My wife and I ate for a cost of $25.00 and change) plus card surcharge taking the total price to $26.19. TBH i think the surcharge is too high. I didn't see the surcharge advertised. My calculation is that the surcharge is around 2%. Up to you if you think it's too high. Back to the food. Good food. Fast service. Next day:. Our children came and ate with us. Again the food is really good. Worth it.
This is one of the best noodle and dumpling bars in Sydney… a classic cheap eat! You have not experienced Sydney food culture if you have not been here!
We honestly love this place. Cheerful service, handmade food which is absolutely delicious. Have come here for years. Best part are the juicy dumplings and delicious sauces, the handmade noodles, and then the eggplant is one of a kind. Fun atmosphere too.
I tried the one located at the corner of Quay St and Thomas Ln. The waitress girl is sooo coool! To avoid card surcharge, I searched every pocket for the last 10 cents but I failed.... so I decided to pay by card and the girl known and let me left with a 10 cents discount!!! Thanks for that!!! Good homemade noodles, definitely recommend the mutton and bread piece in soup! Lamb tasted nice! No recommend the noodles in soup with stewed flank beef. The soup tasted like Japanese style, too light for me. Chicken thigh cutlets are used in Chicken and potato stew on noodles, this is definitely amazing. But the flavor is very simple. Just spicy from red cayenne like chillies. The dish needed more salt, more peppercorns, more soy sauce and more herbals.
